Dear Lord, reveal to me what areas from the previous year you want me to prune for growth so that I can remain more in you as I begin this New Year. Holy Spirit come into my mind and clarify those behaviors and thoughts that hijack my identity into the world around me. Forgive me for all of those false motives, ugly behavior and defensive actions that ultimately results in my own stress and anxiety. I want to experience the joy of the Lord that comes from loving others well and remaining in Christ. Show me what that looks like moving forward.
