He made himself of no reputation, was not concerned about making a name for himself. About what people thought of Him, therefore He was free to witness God’s love to the world. Dear Lord, I want your attitude, the same attitude that allowed you to complete the mission you had on earth to save my soul. Help me to be determined, to fix my mind on serving you and those around me. Too often I fixate on the things I think I want, need or should have in life and completely overlook the very thing that will satisfy my deepest desire: to know that you see me and that I matter. Help me do a good job for you on earth, through your presence and strength in and through me, so that when I stand before you, my name will be written in the book of life and you will acknowledge it before the Father and the angels in heaven. Thank you that you have already overcome ALL that I feel has overcome me and through you my victory is certain.

Have your way with me Lord in spite of myself. I want the fullness of life you died to give me and offer that to those around me. Fill me with strength and courage to stand on the front lines of your will for me.

Remind my mind of what my soul always knows: you adore me and have a work of love to do through me that is the key to my freedom, inner peace and purpose. I want that more today than yesterday.

My victory lies in my ability to be aware of the attack and respond quickly with your word to bind, rebuke and cast down any stronghold that sets itself up against the knowledge that flows from the Holy Spirit. Help me to armor up and stand against evil. Your goodness within me overcomes evil every time.
