Dear Lord, I give you permission to override my feeble attempts to do life my way. Help me to return to you quicker today than yesterday. Your peace is what I long for over the pain I feel trying to figure it all out along with wanting to know how things will turn out. Surrender is hard for me because I am afraid of losing something, yet it is in this death to self that you call me to in order to find true life. Remind my mind of what the Holy Spirit within me always knows: in you, with you and through you I lack nothing, my peace is profound and my joy is complete. More of you today Lord and less of me I want to be YOUR ambassador in this world make your appeal through me for YOUR glory, in spite of myself.
