Dear Lord, too often I am trying to dance someone else’s dance or I try to save someone from a lesson that you are trying to teach them in life. The disease to please too often causes me to edit myself for the sake of reward: attention, approval, recognition all of which flow from my own focus on ME. Teach me how to put down my donkey and take up my cross. I only want what will bring me closer to you.

Dear Lord, teach me how to overcome fear, self-doubt and worry. Up my ability to trust in YOUR ability to overcome the areas I label as defeat and threats in my life. Show me how to make confidence and trust my way.

that does not glorify your mighty power in my life. Help me override negative

of faith in this moment, causing me to question why something is happening, I
flip into your lap and give over control. I give you permission to resurrect
your mindset over mine. Help me to remember today that I am not my own, I have
been bought by your blood, I belong to you. Show me what do YOU want me to do,
believe, think about, let go of, so that experiencing your freedom and peace becomes
my reality now moving forward?
