This week’s podcast is titled: Altruism begins with a fundamental message of Jesus, God’s Love
Mark 12:31 commands us to Love thy neighbor as yourself. I believe that God’s Love is Incredible. It justifies our lives and fills us with hope for the future. To our benefit, God’s love guides us toward other actions, including mercy, discipline, and patience. As we learn to love the Lord back, we grow in the fruits of the Spirit and in how we experience compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, all elements of altruistic behavior.
This bible study will share some thoughts on Altruism and how it starts with experiencing and sharing God’s love.
Dear Lord,
Heavenly Father, I come to you in thanks and praise. Thank you for your Love which Conquers all. We pray on Ephesians 3:18 and 3:17 that we have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp the width, length, and depth of the Love of Christ and that this helps us in our altruistic behaviors. Help us understand your Love, and let us continue to open ourselves to the holy spirit recognizing Christ in your hearts through faith. Thank you for allowing us to this be rooted and grounded in Love. Amen

Heavenly Father, I come to you in thanks and praise. Would you please let the words from my mouth honor and provide nourishment for your flock? It is hard not to take offense or even offend others with our actions. I ask that we learn to change any negative impulse or reaction that leads us to do this, which is not Christlike behavior. The bible has so many examples of how you modeled this behavior for us. I pray that we have the Mind of Christ that leads us to the right Emotional Intelligent actions. Thanks for being our father and for the love and protection you give to us. Amen.

God, I know that I can rely on you in all of my highest and darkest hours and that you are my friend, protector, and savior. Thank you for the spirit of righteousness and the hope of salvation that protects us from the wages of sin.
