Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to live beyond fear. To remember the spirit that you have given me that stands always in the space of truth, power, love and a sound mind. You are my victory over fear.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for leaving us with so many directives from the first followers that give us guidelines for life. Help us to wait upon you and the power of the Holy Spirit within us to guide us where you want us to go. Have your way with us in spite of ourselves.
Prayer: Lord, guide me into the training ground so that I am prepared for the trials in life. Help me to live in the thrill of the surrendered life so that my knowing that you are with me overrides all fear, self-doubt and worry.
Prayer: Lord, show me how to take back the power I give to other people’s behavior. It is for freedom that you have set me free. This Lent I want you to guide me into the freedom from the attachments I have made to this world like caring so much about what people think and do. Help me to let them and let you show me how you want me to navigate through it all.
Prayer: Lord you are sovereign. I give you permission to shift my focus from the things of the world back to you alone, knowing, as St. Augustine declared, when I love you above all, I can do as I please.

Dear Lord,
You alone can free us from sin, selfishness, past pain, regret, envy, resentment, suspicion, taking offense…ALL of it that creates our yoke of slavery in life…we want to be FREE to grab ahold of all that you have already grabbed ahold of us for on this journey of life. Forgive us for our lack of belief. For giving more authority to the shiny objects in the world than to the POWER of your RISEN SPIRIT that courses through our entire being. IGNITE our desire and ability to resurrect who we are in the FREEDOM you died to give us. Give us eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to respond this week to your voice alone and along with it the ability to respond to it quicker today than yesterday.
