Sweet Jesus, fill me with all of the gifts that the Holy Spirit desires to give to me today so that I can do mighty works in your name. Whatever plan or scheme the devil has for me today in YOUR NAME I overturn it and take back authority for your work in my life. Override me when I start to use fear and anger as an excuse for not being accountable to you. I am your ambassador, make your appeal for your glory and love in this world through me. More of YOU, less of me.

Dear Lord, I give you permission to override my feeble attempts to do life my way. Help me to return to you quicker today than yesterday. Your peace is what I long for over the pain I feel trying to figure it all out along with wanting to know how things will turn out. Surrender is hard for me because I am afraid of losing something, yet it is in this death to self that you call me to in order to find true life. Remind my mind of what the Holy Spirit within me always knows: in you, with you and through you I lack nothing, my peace is profound and my joy is complete. More of you today Lord and less of me I want to be YOUR ambassador in this world make your appeal through me for YOUR glory, in spite of myself.

Move me to take care of your business on earth and expand my ability to trust you to take care of mine.

Sin is missing the mark and repentance is getting back to Jesus, our target for inner peace and confidence. FEAR fuels behaviors that often result in sin, envy, anger outbursts, shaming and blaming, judgements. Jesus paid our price and calls us to begin again quicker each time we miss the mark. We have an advocate to help us experience a change of heart.

Dear Lord, open my heart to receive your wisdom when it comes to hope. I want to shift my focus from the insecurities I see around me to the security I have in you. I often feel that something has to change in the outcomes I am experiencing these days for me to feel secure. It’s the tie I am making between outcomes and security that results in feelings of insecurity. Why am I looking for the living among the dead? Help me Lord to remember that even though this is not my home I can walk securely knowing you are my hope and you move me to act in accordance with your will. Your will be done in my life. I want what you are serving up today.

The enemy seeks to steal my peace, in your name I reclaim the peace that passes all human understanding along with a determined mindset that allows you to sit on the throne of my heart…direct and guide every thought and word that comes out of my mouth.

I want to emerge from this time of sheltering in place with a resurrected sense of connection to you, and you alone. I am willing to believe that I will never be left empty handed when I surrender all that I am into all that you are. I want freedom in you moving forward.

Sin entered through Adam and Eve. Jesus, you died for our sins so that those who believe may spend eternity in Heaven with you. I want to experience your love, mercy and forgiveness in my life. I am sorry for each moment I have wondered from love into selfishness and ugly behavior. Save me, I choose you and I want to begin again. Come into my life and make me your own. I want to know you Lord now moving forward on this journey of life.

Dear Lord, you would often say: “your faith has made you well, go in peace.” Help us to remember what that feels like to abide in your peace. What it feels like to live by faith rather than sight. Increase our faith factor today. Just like the woman who reached out, touched your cloak and was healed, we reach out to you today for healing for our land. Heal us from all fear, anxiety, worry and doubt. That woman was bound by 12 years and she had faith in you. It’s only been a few weeks and our fears too often override our faith. Come King of Kings, Prince of Peace and heal our land.
