In this podcast, we are going to explore “The 5 Types of Prayer and Knowing their importance in prayerful communication. To do this we need to first define prayer. Prayer by definition is “a petition of God” or “words spoken to him”. Most people know the act of prayer because prayer is the way they exercise a personal relationship with God. But prayer for us as Christians is and will continue to be the most important things we do as Christians. So, let’s take time to think about that. If it is the most important thing, we as Christians do, then knowing the various acts of prayer and how to perform them should be of utmost importance to us.
This study is not about complicating prayer with some of its deep theological meanings, but rather to make it more specific by understanding the different types. Specificity is so important to God and knowing the different types of prayer will draw us nearer to him, bringing light to darkness and increasing its effectiveness.
